ACADEMY - LEVEL 3 (Grades: 5th & 6th)

90 minute program with focus on the Foundations of Volleyball. Practice 2 / week with an emphasis on developing the foundation skills for volleyball. These will include underhand passing, overhand passing, attacking and serving. Play will consist of variation to court size and number of players to ensure that all players develop proper fundamentals and movement skills while learning to play all positions. We want each player to learn every volleyball skill to become a well-rounded player versus specializing in a specific position at this age.

Advanced Defense & Ball Control

Each session is designed for experienced players looking to advance their skills in defense and ball control. This will include extensive reps in serve receive, defensive training, and defensive floor work. This session will aim to improve athletes' ability to control the ball both in serve receive and defense, and to better control the ball during emergency situations.

Hitter Training 

Each session is designed to improve athletes' skill development as attackers. These sessions will focus on all facets of pin hitting: hand contact, arm swing, approach, and offensive and defensive transition. This session will aim to improve athletes' ability to score while maintaining aggressiveness and consistency.

SETTER TRAINING

Each session is designed to improve athletes development in all aspects of setting. Setter training will focus on hand development, positioning, footwork, and the technical aspects of setting. This session will aim to improve a setters consistency, set location, and an ability to run an offense.

SERVING CLINIC

Each session is designed to improve the basic skill of serving. This will include focus on toss, hand contact and body positioning. The goal of serving clinic will be to improve athletes ability to serve consistently, with pace and accuracy.

Jump float SERVING CLINIC

This session is for experienced players who currently have a consistent standing float serve. This advanced clinic will focus on the development of a jump float serve, including footwork, toss, hand contact in the air, and maximizing contact point. This clinic will serve to improve athletes' aggressiveness from the service line while remaining consistent and accurate.
