The recruiting process is building a relationship with the college coaches and their program…communication is the key to success!
01/
Become familiar with the NCAA clearinghouse and the recruiting rules as they differ from D1,DII,& DIII
Create a University Athlete profile and check it often to make sure that it is up to date
Work hard and continue to develop your skills

Develop a broad list of programs that you may be interested in
Begin highlight film and have links to YouTube or Hudl
Email the coaches of the programs on your list at the start of your club season (make sure to cc your recruiting coordinator!)
Continue to develop skills as you are now one year from potential collegiate offers

Start to narrow down your list of choices
Begin to visit and attend camps at schools on your list
Register with the NCAA clearinghouse and have SAT and ACT scores sent there
Send an updated athletic resume with club information and schedule
Send highlight video to programs of interest early in the club season
Begin to take unofficial visits to talk with coaches and gauge their interest level

Narrow down your list
Schedule and take official visits
Sign during early signing period if you've made a verbal commitment
If you haven't received an offer, then re-evaluate potential
Contact schools as club begins asking what positions they have available
